First Post Ever

So, Here we are....in a place I swore I would never be, on a blog. I just couldn't see myself taking the time to "blog." We have recently moved away from family and friends and thus I decided to create a blog for our family so that everyone, both far and near, can keep up with the Zerr's. (ha ha) Ryan has graduated his Family Medicine Residency and taken a job in a small town called Mayer, AZ. It is about 60 miles north of Phoenix. We have moved to a very small town just outside of Mayer called Humboldt. It is an interesting place. Brennan seems to have no desire to stay here, as he keeps reminding me that this is not our real house. We are all adjusting, some slower than others. Ryan is the sole physician at his practice, and so his workload is full to say the least. He is working Monday -Thursday, although he hasn't taken an entire Friday off yet.
This is an exciting time for us, but full of change and unknowns for us all. We are doing our best to stay positive and keep plugging.

Brennan is 3 years old and is going to start pre-school on Sept. 2nd. He is both excited and scared. He did very well during the open house with all the teachers. They all think he is adorable, of course. Interestingly enough there are two Brennans in the class. Go figure. I am sure he will do well and it will give him some sense of stability and consistancy during this transition.

Peyton is 2 years old and is a busy, busy girl to say the least. She is into everything. I can't tell you how many messes a day I clean up from her. She is very curious and has quite a "personality". I have no idea how she got to be so in charge, stubborn, vocal and opinionated....it's weird, not like us at all. :) She does love playing with her brother. He is so good to her and she adores him.
